Workshops
The Belonging Lab’s workshop series equips individuals and organizations with the tools to respond to the youth mental health crisis through education, community-building, and action. These workshops are rooted in lived experience, intersectional understanding, and the belief that suicide prevention must happen long before someone reaches a breaking point.
With a trauma-informed lens and a focus on early intervention, we train participants to become mental health allies, reduce stigma, and cultivate environments where people feel seen, supported, safe, and that they belong.
Build awareness of the systemic, social, and cultural drivers of mental distress.
Teach non-clinical intervention tools like reflective listening, crisis de-escalation, and empathetic boundaries.
Demystify suicide prevention, encouraging direct but compassionate conversations and proactive connection.
Foster a culture of community care, where belonging, presence, and peer support are prioritized.
Reduce preventable loss by turning ordinary people into everyday protectors.
